- Strictly necessary storage (if any): storage essential for the site to work (for example, a language preference in
localStorage). Exempt from the consent requirement under Article 22.2 LSSI-CE.
3. Third-party cookies
This site sets no third-party cookies itself. Some outbound links are Amazon Associates affiliate links (travel-gear products on amazon.com); other outbound links (airline claim portals, official regulatory sources) are plain references. In every case, when you click an outbound link and navigate to the destination site, any cookies that site sets on its own domain are governed by its own cookie policy and consent mechanism, not ours.
When you click one of our Amazon affiliate links, Amazon may set its own attribution cookies on its own domain, after the click, to credit a qualifying purchase to this site. Those cookies are set and controlled by Amazon under its own cookie and privacy policies, not by this site.
4. Why is there no cookie banner?
This site sets no first-party tracking or advertising cookies and its analytics are cookieless, so there is no cookie requiring prior consent under Article 22 LSSI-CE and EU ePrivacy guidance — no consent banner is shown because there is nothing to consent to. If cookies requiring consent are ever introduced (for example, display advertising), this policy will be updated and a consent mechanism added before they are activated.
5. How to disable cookies
You can disable or delete cookies at any time from your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary storage may affect how the site works.
